Privacy Policy for MeetOps

Effective date / last updated: April 2026

Your privacy is our default. Your timetable stays on your device. No MeetOps account. Ads and subscriptions use Google / RevenueCat as described below.

1. Data We Collect

We do not operate our own servers for your class data. Information you enter — including your class schedule, meeting links, and preferences — is stored on your device using Android's local storage (SharedPreferences).

We do not receive a copy of that schedule data. However, integrated third-party SDKs (see Third-Party Services) may send limited data over the internet for ads, purchases, and subscription status — under their own privacy policies.

2. Accessibility Service

MeetOps can use Android's Accessibility Service to help join scheduled meetings in supported apps — including Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, and Zoom — without requiring manual taps for each step.

Specifically, the service:

The service is limited to supported meeting and system permission apps (as configured on your device). It does not collect, log, or transmit your chats, messages, or meeting content to MeetOps or to us. It uses on-screen UI information only as needed to perform join actions you asked MeetOps to automate.

This service is optional and can be disabled in MeetOps settings and Android Accessibility settings.

3. Alarm & Audio

When the "Full Volume Alarm" option is enabled for a class, MeetOps schedules a follow-up alarm shortly after your class start time. When it fires, the app can override silent or vibrate mode and play an alarm at high volume (and vibrate) until you confirm you are awake.

This behaviour is disclosed before you enable it and requires your explicit confirmation. You can disable it at any time by editing the class.

4. Permissions Used

5. Third-Party Services

MeetOps integrates with the following third-party services that may collect data independently under their own privacy policies:

6. Data Retention

Schedule and preferences stored by MeetOps on your device are removed when you uninstall the app. We do not keep copies of that local app data on our own servers.

Third-party services (Google, RevenueCat, etc.) may retain information they process according to their own retention policies.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the app evolves. Significant changes will be communicated through an in-app notice. Continued use of MeetOps after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

This policy was last updated: April 2026.
